Getting Here…

Southern Hospitality – Kosher Style

We’re always excited when we have visitors, and you are welcome to visit us at any time. Join us for our regular Shabbat services, or visit during our Feast services. We are south of Atlanta, Georgia in what is known as “Middle Georgia”. If you plan to spend time in Macon, visit the Downtown Vistors Center for things to do.

There are two hotels that are 5-6 minutes from the synagogue. One is Fairfield Inn Marriott on Plantation Inn Dr. (Peake Rd), and the one next to it is Comfort Suites. Disclaimer: We cannot vouch for these hotels, but they are near the synagogue; you will have to consult online reviews. There are a few more in the same area.

This area is highly populated with restaurants, Chinese, McAllister’s, fast food, Japanese steakhouse, Wendy’s, Buffalos, Margaritas, Applebee’s, Fazoli’s, Walmart, Kroger, Kohl’s, a theatre, etc. These are all off of Zebulon Road, Exit 5 off of I-475. If you’re coming north on I-475, you will make a left turn when you come off the exit, get all the way over into the right lane, and turn right at the light, which is Plantation Inn Dr. (Peake Rd). If you’re coming from the south on I-475, you’ll stay to the right, and turn right at the light. There is a Verizon store on the corner of Peake and Zebulon. All the hotels are located on the right.

If you’d like to come early and schmooze, visit Mi Chamocha, our coffee house. Hours are 9:30-10:00am on Shabbat, and an hour after service ends. It’s closed on Feast Days. Come and enjoy a cup of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate, and fellowship!
